A New Niece

We have a new niece!

She tried really hard to be born at 23 weeks old, but thanks to modern medicine she was convinced to wait until 39 weeks.

Please join us in welcoming Hope Elizabeth to the world! We can’t wait to meet her in person. In the meantime, I stole this picture of her from my brother and his wife!

The first thing out of Little Miss’ mouth was, “she’s not brown like us”–meaning her baby brother and herself. She was a bit disappointed to find out that Hope will probably be blond like her sister Lauren.

Hope helped even out the family, 5 boys and 5 girls, so far, in this next generation of children.
