Finally… A Post!

I am sure that you all have thought I dropped off the face of the earth! I suppose I did for at least a little while. It’s been a rough few months and I just haven’t had the energy to write anything. In fact, I haven’t even looked that this blog for at least 5 weeks now.

I’m hoping to get back into the swing of posting regularly again and can’t wait to catch up with you soon.

I know this post doesn’t say much, but I’ll do my best to write out something that captures the past two months in a nutshell…I know, nutshells are not something I’m very good at. *smile*

Blessings.

We are awaiting the fingerprint results and then will be entering into our home study. How was your adoption process in your county? We are in Fremont County.

    Hi Pam ~
We adopted through Denver County and it was really easy. Honestly, easier than any of the private adoptions we have been involved with. We were matched through Adoption Exchange (we do a lot of promotional/volunteer work with and for them) and we did use a private agency for our homestudy process. Interestingly, the county ended up having to do their own homestudy all over again anyway. We live in Boulder County and honestly, unless the Lord truly moved, we wouldn’t adopt from them. They are too difficult to work with and we aren’t thrilled with many of their policies.

Please feel free to e-mail me privately if you would like to chat more or if I can help with more questions.

    Blessings,
    Trish
